Instructions

Step 1
Begin by preheating a griddle or large frying pan until it becomes hot, then brush it with vegetable oil.
Step 2
Shape the beef mince into four patties and sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of each patty.
Step 3
Put the patties on the griddle and cook for approximately 3 minutes, or until they are nicely browned. Then, flip the burgers over and place a slice of cheese on top of each patty.
Step 4
Continue cooking for an additional 1-3 minutes until the burgers are cooked through.
Step 5
Once the burgers are cooked, remove them from the griddle and allow them to rest for 2-3 minutes.
Step 6
Meanwhile, mix together the sauce ingredients and set the mixture aside.
Step 7
To assemble the burgers, place lettuce on the bottom of two of the burger buns, followed by tomato slices. Add a burger patty to each bun.
Step 8
Top the burgers with onion slices and another patty.
Step 9
Drizzle the sauce over the burgers and place the top bun on each burger. Serve and enjoy!
