Crockpot Angel Chicken Recipe

Added some shredded cheese to top it off and it was really good.

Needs a bit more salt and seasoning. I'd use 2 packets instead of 1. Careful not to mix it through the pasta, rather top the pasta with the chicken. This way all the flavor won't get lost in a big heap of pasta, if that makes sense. Made this mistake the first time I made it.

Added salt, pepper, and more garlic powder. Made it great!

I used rice instead of pasta. And tossed that in with everything. My crock pot has a 10 hour setting and I put it on that with little extra water and oh my lanta. So good, the chicken was tender and filling. If you want, it would taste good topped with spinach and sauteed onions.

Runny sauce ... maybe more chicken would help

I’ve found with most crockpot recipes you don’t need NEARLY the amount of time stated. I have a very powerful crockpot & I only had to do the breasts for a fraction of the time. Check the breast after 1-2 hrs on low Also I thinned the sauce CONSIDERABLY. It would have been WAYYY too thick. Add a bit of stock little by little to make it a more palatable sauce (a bit like thinner Alfredo sauce)

I added broccoli the last 20 minutes.

I made it, I honestly couldn’t tell if it was disgusting or delicious. Seriously with each bite I really couldn’t tell how I felt about it… Just had one of those flavors… My fiancé liked it and my picky toddler loves it too.

Pulled the breast apart a little and added some sauteed mushrooms. It was so flavorful and creamy. Had plenty of leftovers for the next night. Added a little chicken broth while reheating and it was just as good as the first night
