Instant Pot Pulled Pork

I loved this recipe! The only thing that I added was cornstarch to the sauce and cooked for a little bit extra time in the stove to make the sauce thicken. Served with a side of potato salad 🤤 increíble

Yummy! Only change I made was no bbq sauce in the broth so I could use it for carnitas a different day. Broth I did water, ketchup, mustard, and apple cider vinegar. So tender and easy.

I've made this many times. It's my go to pulled pork recipe!

Don’t cube your pork! It gives the pork a weird texture, not a pulled pork texture. Even shredding the cubes makes it more like minced pork. Not what you want. I’d leave the apple cider vinegar out too. You get a ton of liquid left that is watered down and waters downs the pork itself. I think I’ll keep looking for a better recipe. Sorry I wasted a full pork loin on this one.

Used bone-in pork shoulder roast 6.5 lb so actually about 6 lbs Just slightly increased the spice and barbecue sauce mixtures. Would probably add more barbecue sauce next time

Good flavour, but need to increase cook time to probably 60min at HP if pork isn't pre-cut

Great but rather sweet, would use less bbq sauce next time and no sugar. A lot of sauce left so added some starch to ticken it a bit

Very yummy! My roommates liked it a bit more than me though. I used ketchup instead of barbecue (it's what we had) and still came out good!

I seared the pork cubes in a skillet first (deglazing sometimes leaves me with a "BURN" on my InstantPot) and omitted the brown sugar and hit sauce. Why? Because I had some spicy cherry barbeque from our last trip to Glen Arbor, Michigan - fabulous! I also prefer to undercook my pork by ten minutes and then increase natural release by ten minutes as it really tenderizes meats very well. I stick a meat thermometer in the largest of pork before shredding just to make sure.

Very tasty, I only had 2.6 pounds of boneless pork ribs but I made it anyway. It is very tasty! I had LOTS of sauce in the instant pot when the ribs finished cooking, so I just thickened it with a little corn starch and water. No need for any extra BBQ sauce. Easy and tasty, win, win!

I don't hate or love this recipe. It's a great versatile pulled pork recipe in 40 minutes! Plan on using leftovers for tacos and perhaps Mac 'n cheese. Also, used a 7oz can of chipotles in adobo in place of BBQ sauce while cooking, this added some extra spice and depth of flavor.

Made tonight, tasted great, will make again. Used Hawaiian rolls and coleslaw with them pulled pork, everyone enjoyed.

This was absolutely delicious. Followed another comment that said to CHAR the meat, so I charred it hard in the IP. 100% recommend.

Listen. if you aren't one of these pulled pork snobs (you know who you are, just stop it) this is the last pulled pork recipe you'll ever need. It is RIDICULOUS. My pro tip: get it seared REALLY GOOD. Like, just short of burnt. And scrape the bottom like your OCD kicked in when deglazing. If you want the vinegar based coleslaw recipe it's this: 1 cup white vinegar 1/4 cup sugar 1 teaspoon celery SEED (seed. Not salt) 1 teaspoon mustard seed Boil Cool Mix with the cut up cabbage and whatever else you like in it Chill till it's cold. Or not. Good either way. That recipe is the truth. So good

Delicious! After 40 minutes I sautéed to reduce the sauce and then put it back on high pressure for another 20 minutes and it was melt in your mouth. There was no need for more barbecue sauce as the sauce was reduced and sticky

My husband liked it. We ate it with jasmine rice. I personally didn't like it too much.

Really good. It's one of our go-to recipes.
