Instant Pot Sour Cream Pork Chops

Use a lot more Worcestershire sauce than the recipe calls for. Great!

So good!!!! I did this in the crock pot - browned the chops and caramelized the onions and mushrooms (I added muahrooms). With the chops and veggies in the crock pot, I added the beef broth (increased to 2 C.) 2 T. dijon mustard, and the worcestershire sauce (increased to 1 T.). Once the chops were falling apart, I removed them from the pot and added the cornstarch (slurry mixed with water) and the sour cream to create a gravy. Served this with mashed potatoes and it was a HIT! Definitely adding this to the rotation.

Fantastic recipe that reminded me of my mom. Total cook time was 1.5 hours, including the vegetables, potatoes, and garlic toast.

Next time we will add mushrooms like a stroganoff

If they are boneless cook for less time

Can be made on the slow-cook setting over 8 hours instead of pressure cooking if so desired.

This was tasty but needed a LOT more slurry to thicken the gravy/sauce. Served it over mashed potatoes which helped soak up the sauce.

I used lactose free sour cream and green onions to make it low fodmap. The pork was not as tender as I wanted but still tasted great!

I did this in a skillet on the stove top. An instapot is not required

I used 1/4" chops and I was just barely able to cut them with a fork. I'll probably do 5"-6" next time or 3/4 inch chops. The flavor was very good, even though I had to substitute vegetable broth for beef (was out of beef). Will definitely make this again. Essentially a one pot meal, though I made mashed potatoes and green beans, leaving 2 more pots to clean.

Cooked it on a cast iron skillet instead. Sauce was great, added flour to thicken the sauce. Cooked pork for a little less than 8 minutes to avoid tough meat.

I have been making something similar to this for years, with a couple of exceptions. I use evaporated milk and mix with the beef broth and sour cream, and I use plain flour to thicken it up. Love the slightly tangy flavor. Edit: Oh, and I don't use Worcestershire sauce... maybe I'll try that?

Really delicious. Used half the water and powdered stock to make a thicker sauce.

Would only pressure cook for 7 minutes so the chops won’t be so dry.

Delicious! I added a little sage and oregano and I could only get neck sirloin -plenty of fat #uglyfood 😜

I don't have a pressure cooker, so I did it in the airfryer, and it was delicious.

I added mushrooms to the base recipe because I love mushrooms. Turned out pretty good. I did need to thicken the sauce.

This recipe was easy, and I like that it is one pot. However, we did not care for this. We felt it was very bland. It needs something, just not sure what.

This was lush. I did it in a ceramic pan, on the cooker. The flavour was spot on. Will do it again 😊

Delicious! We made it in a cast iron instead of the instant pot. Just cooked a little longer before making the gravy. Soooo good!

Bland flavor and sauce was very thin.

This was ok. I doubled the recipe. I browned the pork chops on both sides and pressure cooked them for 14 minutes. I used half the onions than what it called for because my daughter doesn't like onions and it tasted fine.

We enjoyed it. Served with green beans and mashed potatoes. I cooked them for 12 minutes instead of 8 and they could have used another 2 to be more tender. Used corn starch to thicken, no real changes

Just okay. I tried this over grilling for something easy, but grilling would've been tastier and quicker.

We loved it. Quick, easy, and yummy. We served with rice-a-roni rice and that was a yummy combo.

Over cooked the pork chops but the sauv was good. Did not realize it did not include the mashed potatoes

Can use full fat coconut milk as hwc sub for a similar taste and texture. Recipe easily doubled for leftovers!
