I have partnered with @MuirGlen and @thefeedfeed to share with you this very delicious toast, inspired by the iconic and wonderful @carlaphall‘s Pantry Guide! #ad I love using @MuirGlen tomatoes in my cooking because they are organically grown in Sacramento, which means I am getting the best of the California tomatoes! @MuirGlen products are always certified organic because they believe that organic farming benefits consumers, farmers, and ecosystems. @MuirGlen has a long history of supporting organic agriculture, and this commitment remains steadfast. I CANNOT tell you how ADDICTIVE this toast is! It has become a regular afternoon snack item in my home, especially with my kids! This toast, that comes together pretty quickly, is made with a spicy tomato garlicky sauce, with Muir Glen Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes, which has green chiles in it! I add spices to it, to enhance the flavors. The cannellini beans are made with olive oil, cilantro, parsley, garlic, and some seasonings. The sourdough bread is toasted with olive oil, until nicely brown, then layered with tomato sauce, beans, and gruyere cheese, and broiled for a few minutes. It is finally garnished with chives, parsley, coarse black pepper, and sea salt! A good white wine with this toast is a MUST! The toast makes for a great dinner as well on busy weeknights!
