Authentic Chimichurri (Uruguay & Argentina)

Added a tiny bit of sugar

Lime is too strong a substitute

I followed the recipe, then spooned some over serloin steaks as a marinade. Then I added an additional tablespoon of vinegar and another twist of salt to the remaining sauce. This sauce will be used for the steak once served and also to dip pao de queijo cheese breads into it... Yum

Made it for the 1st time...amaze balls! Used red chilies, which were rehydrated. Served over rib eye steaks with baked potato and steamed veggies.

I use fresh oregano, flat leaf parsley,and fresh coriander. You often need extra olive oil and red wine vinegar

I really love this recipe. It's actually easier than trying to find pre-made chimichurri where I live. It's my go-to any time I need it.

Only had dried parsley, but it worked fine. Might add a squirt of lime next time.

Was short on fresh herbs, but used what I could and dumped in a variety of additional dry herbs. Subbed red chili flakes for the fresh. Also a squirt of lime juice! Poured it over focaccia, was great!

Made this in a processor. So I skipped all the chopping and it was delicious. I followed the recipe exactly except I added as much cilantro as parsley. Big hit on chicken on the bbq. Will use this recipe as a staple.

I added red onion & capers for additional depth & crunch. Everything needs to be chopped super fine.

Delicious and easy. Versatile - quick/low effort enough for a weeknight but could also impress guests if you have company.

My BF spent two years in Argentina and said this is the most authentic chimichurri he's had state side. It was delicious and I may need to make a batch weekly now 😋

The flavors were amazing. The red wine vinegar really makes the difference.

Everyone loved it! Such an easy way to add some flavor to a boring chicken breast (or whatever protein you are serving).

I made 1/2 a batch without chile for the kids, 1/2 a batch with the chili; yummy 😋 I adjust oil and salt to tast ( recipe too much salt for me)

I couldn't find any red chilies at my grocery store so I used some of a can of Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce and pretty pureed the peppers😬 and it didn't look right but it tastes good! 😅 I plan to cook some sausages on the grill and add the chimmichurri on top

Lovely sauce and easy to make Good with beef, chicken, salad, toaster pumpin, black beans

I use regular grain pink Himalayan salt at half quantity. 1 bunch of parsley from the store yields a double batch

Really easy to make, I did have to add more oil than recommended
