Dump in whole jar of peppers with liquid. Slow cook for many hours then up to medium heat for more

I used onion soup mix instead of the ranch. I also added pepper juice to the crockpot.

Great flavor! Added a small amount of pepper juice to the bottom of my crock pot.

Use all of au jus packet and 3/4 of ranch. I like to think it out with a little water so it is not as strong.

A delicious Mississippi roast is always a wonderful choice. It was excellent served with rice and baked broccoli.

Like someone previously mentioned, add a good bit more peppers, especially if you like spicy.

It was really delicious. I think my slow cooker is a little hot, because it was overdone. Even being overdone, it was very tasty and tender. We had it on toasted Ciabatta buns, and dipped in the excess sauce. I might try to do it a little healthier next time.

A bit salty for my liking but hubby loved it! Next time I’ll reduce the packets by half. I also reduced butter by half. Very tender and inner meat was very tasty. The key is to let it keep cooking on low even after meat temp is ready to eat. It tenderizes so nicely. I also made one a couple days later at hubby request…used Lipton onion soup and fresh sliced onions. Yummy

Sub out the butter for the water called for on the au jus mix, make french dip with leftovers.

This recipe's portion is great for a family of 4 for a single night. We doubled the portions with the same cooking time to last to have some leftovers. Came out perfect! Husband prefers to top it over mashed potatoes and French bread on the side. Easiest 5 min dump and go recipe for those who prep at the last minute before work!

Loved it used brown gravy mix because we didn't have au juc mix. Served with noodles.

Made this a couple weeks ago. Added sliced peperchinis and peperchini juice, onions, garlic. Served with mashed potatoes. Super easy. Cooked in the instant pot.

Added massa to thicken gravy.

My favorite roast! I always add extra pepperoncini because we love the flavor it adds.

Good with potatoes, however, very salty. Thankfully the potatoes balance the salt. Next time I'll have to find a way to mix it up with less sodium. A little kick of spicy which is nice.

Surprisingly very good! I will say maybe use unsalted butter, because the mix packets already contain a bit of sodium. And my knowledge for peppers is nonexistent so I truly thought if I added a few extra it would be fine. It made it spicyyyy.. 😅 (I didn’t know these peppers had a kick to them) but it was still super good! A big favourite for the hubs so I’ll definitely be making this again! *edit: I didn’t read the label on the jar of peppers and it said “medium heat” so just pay attention to that when you buy it.

Loved it! Kids weren't a fan but I found no reason for them not to like it. Def will make again. Great meal for work lunches.

Added some pepper corns and a little for seasoning. And pared with mash potatoes and green beans. Tastes great!

This was another amazing meal. I did, however, make a few tweaks like only putting half a jar of pepperonconi and adding sweet peper and onions.

First time making and came out good. Should have gotten a bigger chuck roast. Next time. The gravy is full of flavor!

You can use the garlic herb butter.

Place roast in the slow cooker and sprinkle the top with the ranch dressing mix and the au jus mix. Place peppers on top of the mixes, and add the butter. Cook over low heat for 8 hours. Serve with noodles, rice or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!

I served it over mashed potatoes & while we did enjoy it, I think it would be even better with veggies & diced potatoes cooked with it. It is on the saltier side for sure, but I didn’t think it was too much. Just depends on your preferences. All in all, the taste was definitely there & worth it. I’ll for sure make it again! :)

The ranch packet makes it really salty. I would leave that out next time.

Taste just wasn't for us

Loved it. Don't have a large enough slow cooker so i did it in the oven.

Cooked om high for 5hrs and made a pan sauce with the drippings. So tasty.

Sorry no pictures but it's very good made with chicken legs and pork tenderloin n pork chops n roast n I made with steak n steak tips .. ive made every meat with this recipe and served with veggies and rolls everyone in my house loves it especially me .

Delicious but heavy

Ok, this was actually pretty good. I was dubious, and I'm always loath to use prepackaged packets of anything, but it's good. A trifle salty, because of the packets, so don't add salt ever.

Tif and IJ really liked. Didn’t have au jus mix tried beef powder but too salty. Make sure to have au jus mix.

Great showstopper roast beef that shreds apart easily. For a little extra kick you can add an italian seasoning packet in addition to the others but be mindful as this can make it overly salty. Never fails to impress guests.

It was very tender, juicy with a lot of flavor. The ranch seasoning and the peppers made the taste pop! I placed it in the crockpot News Years Eve woke up and made the side dishes and it was quick, easy and good!
