Swedish Sweet Pretzels (Kringlor)
Instructions
Prep:40minCook:9min
Swedish Sweet Pretzels, known as Kringlor, hit the spot when you want something that balances the line between sweet and savory. A cross between cookie and cake, these pillowy-soft treats look like salted pretzels, but are actually topped with a sprinkling of pearl sugar. If you can't find pearl sugar, just use the coarsest sugar you can find such as a turbinado or raw sugar. If you prefer your treats on the sweeter side, you could also drizzle your Kringlor with a powdered sugar glaze just after taking them out of the oven.
