I just had to try making a brisket recipe that called for Root Beer. This is the recipe I came up with.

Instructions
Step 1
Place your brisket fat side down in a slow cooker.
Step 2
Put the potatoes, carrots and sliced onion around the brisket.
Step 3
Sprinkle the BBQ seasoning and onion soup mix over the brisket.
Step 4
Mix the liquid ingredients together and pour over the Brisket.
Step 5
Set the slow cooker for 8 hours on low.
Step 6
Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
