Personally i like to add a dash or 2 of cinnamon and cayenne pepper and a quick dollop of vanilla to make it *chef's kiss*

Instructions
Step 1

In a small saucepan, add finely chopped dark chocolate and a splash of whole milk. Begin heating over medium heat. Add 2 tbsp of granulated sugar and 1 tbsp of cocoa powder. Stir occasionally until melted.

Step 2

While waiting for that to melt, mix together 1 tbsp of cornstarch with a small splash of whole milk. Set to the side. **Note: Make sure there are NO LUMPS or once you combine them the texture will make you very sad. Personally I like to put it in an air-tight container and shake it to guarantee its thoroughly stirred.

Step 3

Once chocolate is fully melted, add the rest of your milk slowly while constantly whisking. Continue to heat until all of it is nice and hot.

Step 4

At this point, whisk in the cornstarch slurry. Continue to heat until thickened.

Step 5

Pour into a mug, topped with whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder or finely grated/chopped chocolate flakes.
