Instructions

Step 1
In a medium skillet heat butter over high heat until melted. Add turkey. Using a spoon or tongs, break turkey apart in pan.
Step 2
Sprinkle salt and pepper over turkey. Cook undisturbed for 5 minutes. Using the same spoon or tongs, break turkey into crumbles.
Step 3
Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink anywhere, about 8 to 10 minutes more.
Step 4
Use immediately or let cool and transfer to an air-tight container and refrigerate up to 3 days, or freeze up to 3 months.
