Instructions
Step 1
Pre-heat the oven to 160C/Gas 3. Lightly grease 2 baking trays.
Step 2
Measure the sugar and butter into a bowl and cream together. Add the oats and flour and work them into the mixture. Lightly knead the mixture until smooth and then roll out to a thickness of 5mm on a lightly floured work surface.
Step 3
Cut into rounds using a 6cm plain cutter and place on the prepared baking trays.
Step 4
Bake in the pre-heated oven for about 20 minutes or until beginning to colour. Lift onto a wire rack to cool
