Step 1
Cover the potatoes and garlic in salted water and boil 10-15 minutes until the potatoes can just be pierced with a fork and are not mushy. Drain. Season the meat generously with salt & pepper on all sides. Heat a very large pan to high (or use two pans). Add the oil, beef, potatoes & garlic. Stir occasionally, searing the beef and crisping the potatoes, for 7-10 mins. Toss with paprika.
