Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 and line cupcake tins.
Step 2
Combine melted (and cooled) butter, milk, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and sugar.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
Step 4
Slowly mix the dry ingredients into the wet until just combined. Add chocolate chips.
Step 5
Drop batter into the cupcake liners until about 3/4 of the way full. Bake on 400 for 12 minutes, then reduce the heat to 375 and bake for 10 more minutes. (do not open the oven!)
Step 6
Let cool and enjoy!
