Ingredients

For the dough

1 ¾ tspactive dry yeast

½ cupwhole milk
warm

½ Tbspsugar

3 ⅓ cupsall purpose flour

1 Tbspsugar

1 ½ tspsalt

¼ cupbutter
melted

¾ cupwhole milk
warm
For the topping ( garlic and butter topping)
Instructions
Step 1
In a small bowl mix in the active dry yeast, warm whole milk and 1/2 tbsp of sugar. Mix and let sit for around 10 min or until is bubbly




Step 2
In a large bowl add the all purpose flour, 1 tbsp of sugar, and the salt. Mix and then add the melted butter, 3/4 cup of warm whole milk and the active yeast we did before.







Step 3
Use a stand mixer with the kneading bread attachment until the dough is stretchy, soft but not sticky. ( You can also use a spatula or wooden spoon for mixing the dough.



Step 4
Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover with a towel and let rise for about one hour or until it doubles its size in a warm and dark space.


Step 5
Portion into around 10 - 13 equal size balls and then give them a stick form.
Put them into a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cover and let them rise for 10 min or until the double size.


Step 6
Preheat the oven at 446 Farenheit (230 celsius).

Step 7
Bake the bread sticks at 446 Farenheit (230 celsius) for 10 - 12 min or until golden.

For the toppings
Step 8
In a small bowl mix salt, garlic powder and Italian seasoning.




Step 9
After the bread is out of the oven, while it is still hot from the oven paint them with the melted butter and then sprinkle the seasoning mixture you did before. ENJOY.
