Cajun Ninja Jalepeno Mac and Cheese

Instructions

Step 1
Start out by heating a large pot on a very low heat.

Also heat another large pot filled with water for

boiling the Macaroni.

Chop the Onion and Jalapeños, but make sure you remove the seeds of the Jalapeños before chopping.

Add the two sticks of butter to the pot on low heat.

Once the butter is halfway melted, raise the heat to a medium heat.

Add the chopped vegetables to the melted butter and begin sautéing.

After 20 minutes of sautéing, add 1 tablespoon of minced garlic and 2 tablespoons of

Sauté for another 5 minutes.

During this time shred the 1/2 lb block of pepper jack cheese.

After 10-15 minutes, add a 14.5oz can of Chicken Broth, 1 quart of Heavy Cream and lower the heat to a low setting.

Preheat the oven to 350°.

Around this time, start boiling the macaroni according to the package directions.

Cut the block of jalapeño velveta into cubes and add it to the pot with the heavy cream.

Gradually stir until cheese is melted.

When the macaroni is done, drain through a strainer and add it to the cheese sauce.

Shut the heat off and gently stir in the macaroni until sauce begins to thicken.

Spray a large baking dish with a nonstick cooking spray and pour the macaroni into the dish.

Top off the dish with the shredded pepper jack cheese and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes uncovered.
