Step 1
Put your eggs in a saucepan. Cover with water and put on the hob. Turn the heat onto the highest heat and wait for it to boil.
Step 2
When the water boils, turn it down to a simmer (small bubbles) and set a timer for 6 minutes – this will make the egg hard boiled.
Step 3
When the egg has hard boiled, run cold water into the pan, over the sink until the pan cools. Leave the eggs in the cold water whilst you prepare the sandwich
Step 4
On a white chopping board, slice your tomato
Step 5
Get out the bread, prepare if necessary
Step 6
On a paper towel, peel your egg. When completed, wash in the pan water and then dry on the paper towel. Put into a small bowl.
Step 7
Add the mayonnaise and the salt and pepper
Step 8
Smash it all together in the bowl.
Step 9
Layer your egg and tomato in the middle of your sandwich.
