Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Step 2
Remove skin from the jicama by cutting the top off and then peeling it with a knife. It is very similar to how you would peel an apple, you could also peel it with your fingers if you desire. It is like peeling bark from a tree.
Step 3
Cut the jicama into thin sections like fries
Step 4
Toss the fries in a bowl and add olive oil, paprika, onion powder salt and pepper. Coat the fries evenly with the spices.
Step 5
Bake fries for 30 minutes, flipping them halfway through
Step 6
These can also be made in the air fryer.
