Easy Pulled Pork in the Crockpot
4 steps
Prep:5minCook:10h
Crock pot. Dump and go. Easy. Those three words in a recipe have got my attention! When it comes to crock pot meals, they should ALWAYS be one pot. I do not want to get out another pan to sear the meat before putting it into the crock pot for 8-10 hours. There is no searing with this recipe, yet it contains all of the flavour! Also, you do not need to mix all of the add-ins before pouring it onto the meat, just add them all on top!

½ cupbrown sugar
not packed
3 tspkosher salt
coarse
1 tsppepper
1 cupBBQ sauce
do not use cheap, off brand BBQ
Instructions
Step 1
Place oil in crock pot, then add pork shoulder. If there is a thick layer of fat on it, you can shave some of it off with a knife.
Step 2
Add seasonings and ingredients.
Step 3
Cook low for 10 hours.
Step 4
Shred and enjoy with your favorite BBQ sauce on top! If you have a lot of leftover juices, you can pour some out, but you should leave in enough to keep the meat moist and saturated.
