Instructions
Step 1
In a small bowl, mix together flour, salt, garlic, onion, and black pepper.
Step 2
Heat a large non-stick pan over medium heat. Add sausage, cooking until no longer pink - about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Melt butter in the pan. Sprinkle the flour mixture over the sausage. Stir and cook until the flour is absorbed - about 1-2 minutes.
Step 4
Slowly mix in the milk and cream. Turn up the heat to medium-high and bring to a boil.
Step 5
Reduce heat to a rapid simmer, cook and stir occasionally until the sauce is thickened and can coat the back of a spoon - about 5 minutes.
Step 6
Season with salt and pepper as desired. Serve.
