When it comes to chai, people have opinions. We’ve tweaked our own recipe over the years and arrived at this version - for us, it is not too sweet and just strong enough. Serves ~6.

Ingredients
6 servings
1 pieceGinger
4cardamom pods
¼ tspChai Spices
look for a spice blend with cloves, cinnamon, cacrdamom, nutmeg, black pepper, and ginger
2 Tbspsugar
5 TbspAssam Tea Leaves
we use Brooke Bond Red Label Natural Care with Ashwagandha, Licorice Tulsi, Cardamom, and Ginger
3 cupswater
3 cupsOat Milk
we use ‘Full Fat’ for the creamy texture
Instructions
Step 1
Crush ginger and cardamom pods.
Step 2
In teapot or saucepan, add water, crushed ginger and cardamom, chai masala, and sugar.
Step 3
Bring to boil for 15 mins.
Step 4
Add milk and bring back up to a boil.
Step 5
Add tea and boil for a couple of minutes.
Step 6
Strain before serving.
Step 7
Enjoy with snacks!
