Custard

500mlfull fat milk

100gwhite sugar

3egg yolks

1 tspvanilla extract

20gcornflour

20gplain flour

50gunsalted butter

Instructions
Step 1
Mix the custard ingredients well and cook over medium heat. When ready, add cubes of butter, then transfer into another container to cool for approximately 40 minutes.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 200⁰C fan.
Step 3
Cut puff pastry into squares (6 - 8 pieces depending on the size of pastry). Spoon custard onto the squares, then fold corner to corner. Put more custard on top, then sprinkle over chopped nuts.
Step 4
Cook for 15 minutes
