Instructions

Step 1
Place both cabs of drained chickpeas, sprayed with avocado oil and Smack Ya Mama seasoning to the air fryer at 370 for 8 min.
Step 2
Finely slice shallots, halve the tomatos, and dice the bell peppers. Shred the basil. Keep bell peppers aside for roasting. Place tomato onion and basil into large mixing bowl.
Step 3
Dice the sausage (smoked chicken sausage also works) into small pieces and saute in a nonstick skillet until roasted. (Can also do in air fryer after chickpeas are done)
Step 4
Roast the bell peppers in the sausage grease or in avocado oil until very soft. Add smack ya Mama (Cajun) seasoning
Step 5
Once sausage and peppers are cooked, chickpeas are roasted, everything can be assembled in a large bowl.
Step 6
Make vinegarette with the honey, olive oil, vinegar, paprika and another dash of Cajun seasoning. Shake well, pour over entire dish. Salt to taste.
Step 7
Drizzle each serving with hot honey.
Step 8
Serve as is or over shredded greens
