½ cupolive oil
5 clovesgarlic
medium, peeled and chopped
1yellow onion

2 teaspoonsdried thyme

2 tablespoonspaprika
1 teaspoonssalt
¼ teaspoonsblack pepper
1French baguette
medium, sliced crosswise and then lengthwise in half
2 cupsshredded lettuce
2tomatoes
medium, cored and sliced

Instructions
Step 1
In a 4-quart slow cooker, combine all ingredients except bread, lettuce, and tomatoes. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours.
Step 2
Assemble the sandwiches on bread by layering the Tempeh, lettuce, and tomatoes.
