Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 and grease an 8x4 loaf pan.
Step 2
Peel and mash the bananas in a large bowl, then whisk in the melted butter.
Step 3
Mix in the milk, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. (make sure to beat the egg before adding it!)
Step 4
Whisk in the sugar and brown sugar.
Step 5
In a separate bowl, combine the baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and flour.
Step 6
Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a rubber spatula.
Step 7
Add in chocolate chips if desired and transfer the batter to an 8x4 loaf pan.
Step 8
Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with just a few wet crumbs.
Step 9
Let the bread cook for at least an hour, then slice and enjoy!
