Elena's Russian Cabbage & Egg Pies
10 steps
Prep:2h
Hi, Ana.
For 15 little pies.
Filling: 2 boiled eggs and half of pointed cabbage (chopped small pieces and boil about 3 min). Add butter to warm cabbage and chopped eggs (when the cabbage is cold) . Mix together with salt (a little).
For the dough.
Big bowl : Glass(200ml)of milk, 100 gm butter, tea spoon of salt, one tea spoon of sugar, one egg, 1 table spoon of any oil. Mix together. 1.5 tea spoon of dry yeast mix with a little warm water and put in a warm place. After maybe 20 min you can see that yeast bubbling.
Put yeast to the bowl with the other ingredients. After add self-raising flour (do not how much), I think about 0.5kg. You have to mix with your hand until dough is not sticky. Cover dough with a kitchen towel and put to the warm place for 1.5 hour.
If you have any questions, welcome
Good luck.
