Instructions
Step 1
In a sauce pan, combine butter, brown sugar and 1/2 cup of Karo syrup. Cook until combined.
Step 2
Pour into greased 9x12 inch dish
Step 3
Layer bread, cut or ripped into bite size pieces. It needs to be at least 1.5 to 2 inches thick.
Step 4
Mix eggs, milk and vanilla. Pour mixture over bread. Make sure all bread has absorbed liquid & top with sprinkled cinnamon.
Step 5
Add in any additional ingredients: We like blueberries, cream cheese, peaches, strawberries, apples, nuts, dried fruits or any combination of your choice.
Step 6
Cover with saran wrap and soak overnight
Step 7
Sprinkle brown sugar on top and place in preheated oven at 350 for 40 minutes until it browns and bubbles
