Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350⁰F
Step 2
While the oven is preheating, put butter in baking dish and place in oven to melt.
Step 3
Mix together 1 cup sugar with flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly stir in milk.
Step 4
Take the melted butter out of the oven and mix into the batter.
Step 5
Spread frozen blackberries on the bottom of the glass baking dish. Sprinkle the 1/2 cup of sugar over them.
Step 6
Pour the batter evenly over the blackberries. *Double batter recipe for breadier cobbler
Step 7
Bake 45 min - 1 hour until the center is golden brown and the edges are pulling away from the glass dish.
Step 8
Serve with vanilla ice cream
