Step 1
Peel potatoes and cut into rough 1-2 inch chunks, rinse in colander until water runs clear

Bring 4 qts to a boil
Step 3
Add potatoes and cook until completely tender (15min)
Step 4
Heat milk and butter over medium heat stirring occasionally until butter is melted
Step 5
Drain potatoes and rinse 30 seconds under hot water
Step 6
Mash
Step 7
Add milk and butter fold in gently
Step 8
Season to taste
