Instructions

Step 1
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 degrees F: Cream together butter & 3/4 c sugar until light & fluffy
Step 2
Add eggs & lemon peel ( Beat well)
Step 3
Sift together flour, baking powder & salt: Add to creamed mixture -> Alternating with milk: Beating until mixture is smooth after each addition
Step 4
Stir in chopped walnuts
Step 5
Pour mixture into a greased bread pan
Step 6
Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-55 minutes
Step 7
Let cool in pan for 10 minutes
Step 8
Combine lemon juice & 2 TBSP sugar: spoon on top of lemon loaf
Step 9
Remove from pan & cool completely
Step 10
Wrap & store overnight ( Optional )
