Step 1
Roll out puff pastry. Spread with chocolate. Now fold the dough - both sides in half to center Cut down the middle to get two rectangles. Now cut strips (about 1/2 inch wide) making sure to leave room on top - like those flyer sheets with the numbers you rip off. Now I found it was easier to count 3 or 4 strips, cut it away from the rest and then twist each strip in opposite directions from each other. Then take the top and roll it into a nice Rugelach shape and put into my baking pan. Repeat with all the puff pastry sheets until you fill pan. don't pack the rugelach in too tight - leave a slight bit of space near each one if you can. Once pan is filled, egg wash the top and bake on 400F for 25 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes and then glaze with the sugar water on top. Enjoy!!
