I love nachos and these Trash Can Nachos are legendary and are really easy to make at home! The key is all in the layering – which gives you the perfect cheese to chip ratio! Feel free to play around with the recipe and add your favorite toppings!

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

On a baking sheet, lay out your chips in a thin, one-chip layer.

Drizzle the warm queso sauce over the chips and make it a heavy drizzle (reserve one spoonful for your plate)

Follow with layers of pulled pork, refried black beans, corn, jalapeños, shredded cheese, and bbq sauce.

Step 5
Place nachos in the oven for 5-7 minutes until shredded cheese melts.
Step 6
While the nachos are heating, spoon the remaining queso sauce on your serving plate. You want to form a sticky base for your nachos to rest on.
Step 7
Place your can on the plate over the cheese circle.
Step 8
Remove the nachos from the oven and using a spatula, layer the baked nachos into the can nearly all the way to the top.
Step 9
Garnish the top with more corn and black beans, some pico de gallo, jalapeños, bbq sauce, crema, green onions and cilantro.
