Dice vegetables

Cook down onion with pinch of salt, then add celery carrot with salt and cook until translucent. Cook garlic for 30 sec until fragrant

Remove from pan. Brown meat in pan. Additionally adding a few splashes of worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper. Once brown add tomato puree and dried herbs and cook for 1 min. Add vegetables back to pot. And add tinned tomatoes and add water to can and then pot. Add bay leaf and sugar
Step 4
Bring to a simmer and cook covered for at least 1 hour and uncovered for at least 30 minutes.
