Step 1
In a bowl Beat 250 grams of the butter and 250 grams sugar until pale and fluffy with an electric whisk . Beat in 4 eggs one at a time then sift in the flour and baking soda and mix thoroughly .

Step 2
Add 1 of the tbsp of vanilla and 2 tbsp milk then mix . This makes 24 cupcakes . Fill cupcake cases 2/3 of the way then bake for 16 minutes roughly at 170 c / 340 f

Step 3
Open clear hard candies and place on a lined baking tray or a silicone mat on a baking tray. Arrange them close together then put in the oven at 150 c / 300 f for about 10 minutes or until the candy is melted . Once done remove let cook and use a knife to break the candy and create the fake broken glass

Step 4
Beat the remaining butter until pale and fluffy then add the powder sugar and remaining tbsp of vanilla and mix until fluffy . Cover the cupcakes with this then stick some fake glass in them. To finish push jam through a sieve to remove seeds then add food coloring mix and drizzle it on the glass and tops of the cupcakes . Enjoy
