Instructions

Step 1
In large pot brown ground beef and onions. Once browned drain grease.

Add water, kidney beans, hominy, tomatoes, taco seasoning and ranch seasoning. Let simmer on low for 2 hours
Step 3
When ready to serve add cheese and sour cream

Notes: You can adjust how spicy the soup is my choosing mild taco seasoning and tomatoes with green chillies. This could be done in a Dutch oven or crock pot. The more cheese you add the thicker the soup gets so this could be used as a dip.
