1 poundground bison
beef or turkey
1 cupbeef stock
3cloves garlic

1green pepper

1can stewed tomatoes
1 x 8 ouncecan tomato sauce
2 ⅓ tablespoonschili powder
1 teaspoonground cumin
1 teaspoonground oregano
¼ teaspooncurry powder
½ teaspoonsalt
1 teaspoonpepper
¼ teaspoongarlic powder
¼ teaspoononion powder
½ teaspoonred pepper flakes
1bay leaf
1 x 15 ouncecan kidney beans
drained and rinsed
12 ounceschocolate stout beer

Instructions
Step 1
Season the ground meat with salt, pepper, oregano and chili powder and brown in a skillet over medium heat. Drain off the excess fat and then place in a large pot.
Step 2
Add beef stock, onions, bell pepper, garlic, cumin, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper, bay leaf, beans, stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce and 2 tablespoons of the chili powder.
Step 3
Stir together and simmer on low uncovered for about 20 minutes stirring every five minutes or so.
Step 4
Add the beer, remaining chili powder and red pepper flakes.
Step 5
Simmer for another 20 minutes stirring every five minutes.
Step 6
Serve with shredded Asiago. Feel all cozy inside.
