1lb. lean stew meat
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 14oz can of tomatoes
1 jar or of beef granules or 12 beef bouillon cubes 2 16oz bags of soup vegetables(Pictsweet)
2 turnips peeled & cut
1/2 cabbage
1/4 pkg vermicelli
3 qts of water
Cut meat into small pieces and put in water on medium heat, put in tomatoes & tomato sauce & bring to a boil, then reduce heat & simmer for about 1/2 hour. Then add beef granules & vegetables except cabbage.
Put on low heat and cook for about 3 hours. Then put in cabbage and cook covered until ready to eat, total time about 5 hours. Add vermicilli about 1/2 hours before serving. Hint: Keep covered for better flavor.
