Step 1
Add wine( a cheap dry fruity wine will do ) cinnamon sticks cinnamon cloves and star anise to a pot and whisk to combine

Add orange slices then heat for 20 minutes. Do not let this boil or the alcohol will evaporate. Keep it at around s 65 c or 130 f

Step 3
Add maple syrup or you can sweeten to taste add sweetener of choice until it reaches your desired sweetness then let it sit a few minutes and serve while warm ! Enjoy
