Apple Cheerios A La Mode with a twist!

This can be a yummy and sweet option to meet your sweet craving or can be a post recovery or healthy snack if made with little, to no brown sugar and using the high protein yogurt to sweeten and provide the protein punch needed!

Ingredients
6 servings
6apples
unpeeled, such as Gala, Cortland, Granny Smith, or Honeycrisp, or a mix
2 Tbspbrown sugar
packed, optional, sweet enough naturally
1 TbspApple Pie Spice
1 Tbsplemon juice
topping
½ cuprolled oats
large - flake
½ cupcheerios
crushed, original
1 tspApple Pie Spice
½ cupGreek Yogurt
or Chobani Drinkable Yogurt
Instructions
Step 1
Core apples; chop into 1⁄2" pieces. You should have about 6 cups.
Step 2
Place apples in Square or Multipurpose Steamer. Stir in sugar-optional, Apple Pie Spice, and lemon juice.
Step 3
Microwave, uncovered, on high for 5 min, or until apples are tender and saucy.
Step 4
Meanwhile, in another bowl, stir together topping ingredients.
Step 5
Remove steamer from microwave. Add 3 tbsp water; mix together. Spoon topping over warm apples; microwave again, uncovered, 5 min.
Step 6
Serve with Greek yogurt, if desired. Recommend the Drinkable Chobani Compete vanilla yogurt! 20g of protein, sweetened by stevia and monkfruit and can pour on! delicious!
