Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350.
Step 2
Cream together butter and sugars.
Step 3
Add eggs, one at a time. Mix until fully incorporated.
Step 4
Combine salt and baking soda with 2 1/4 c flour. Gradually add to wet mixture and mix only until flour is gone.
Step 5
If needed to thicken batter, add 1/4 c remaining flour a little at a time until stiff dough forms. Do not overmix.
Step 6
Fold in chocolate chips.
Step 7
Using a couple of spoons or a cookie/ice cream scoop, drop mound of dough onto a lined cookie sheet, 1 inch apart.
Step 8
Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes per batch. Cookies should be set, and slightly browned at the edges.
Step 9
Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute, them remove to cooling rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
