Step 1
Melt butter in medium skillet. Add slivered almonds and sprinkle with 1 Tbl sugar. Toast to golden brown. Remove to waxed paper and cool.
Step 2
In a jar, combine oil, vinegar, 1/4 c sugar, salt, poppyseed and pepper. Shake well. Refrigerate if making in advance.
Step 3
Combine greens and scallions in large serving bowl. Add noodles, toasted almonds & dressing and toss. Add oranges just before serving and toss again.
