Instructions

Step 1
Add the butter, cocoa powder, sugar and syrup to a saucepan and melt on medium-low heat, stirring constantly.
Step 2
Crush the digestives and crackers and pour into the mixture, leaving some larger chunks. Add the fruit and mix before pouring into a grease lined baking tray and flattening down.
Step 3
Heat some water in a saucepan on low heat, just so that if doesn’t boil. Add the chocolate to a bowl and melt over the top, ensuring that no water gets into the chocolate. Add 30g of butter to temper the chocolate.
Step 4
Pour the chocolate over the base and smooth out before placing in the fridge for at least 1.5 hours to set.
