Step 1
Peel and cut your potatoes into thick slices and boil them in some salted water for 10 mins.

In the meantime, drizzle some oil in a pan over medium low heat, add some butter and cook for a couple of mins or until the butter melts.

Add chopped onion, garlic and ham, season with salt and pepper and cook for 4/5 more mins or until the onion and ham are cooked.

Add cream and cook for 5 more mins, then incorporate grated cheese and paprika, add your boiled potatoes and cook for a couple more mins.
