Instructions
Step 1
In a skillet turn heat to medium high and add lard and melt for a minute or two. Add beans, and smash with a potato smasher. Add spices and cook for a couple of minutes and reduce heat to medium low cook, until desired liquid has been absorbed, about 20 minutes or so. Beans will thicken as they cool.
