Instructions

Step 1
Take two separate bowls. In one, add the milk (cold) and the lemon zest and mix. In the other crack the two eggs and beat them with a fork
Step 2
Slice your baguette into 1cm (about ½ and inch) slices. Dip each slice into the milk first and into the egg right after.
Step 3
Add the oil to a pan and place it on medium-high heat. Once hot enough, cook the soaked baguette 3-4 minutes per side (until browned and delicious)
Step 4
In a separate small bowl make your cinnamon sugar by combining the cinnamon and sugar. Dip the cooked bread in it and cover on both sides. You can optionally add honey or maple syrup on top!
