Step 1
Combine sugar, yeast, and water. Let sit for 5 minutes (until mix is foamy).

Add flour, oil, and salt and combine into sticky dough.

Roll out dough on clean and floured surface. Add flour to the dough until it is smooth and can be formed into a ball.

Place dough ball into well oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap and a tea towel, and let rise for one hour.

Once dough has doubled in size, punch down. Then, shape into 12-inch length loaf and place dough on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Let rise for 20-30 minutes.
Step 7
Score dough with sharp knife and brush butter melted and seasoned butter over the dough. Press in extra Italian seasoning.

Place in 400⁰F oven for 20 or so minutes. Until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when knocked on.
