Instructions
Step 1
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Step 2
2. Peel and trim the potatoes; for an elegant touch, use a cookie cutter to shape them into perfect cylinders (4-5cm in height). Save any excess for mashed potatoes. Soak the cylinders in cold water for 15 minutes and pat dry.
Step 3
3. In an oven-proof frying pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil. Add the potatoes, season with salt, and fry for 4-5 minutes until golden. Flip them, add butter, garlic (cut side down), and thyme leaves. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
Step 4
4. Once the bottom is browned, add vegetable stock and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until tender inside, (cooking time can change depending on how big your potatoes are).
Step 5
5. When ready, garnish with thyme leaves, white truffle oil, and truffle dust. Voila! Indulge in the most exquisite potatoes youâve ever experienced.
