Instructions
Step 1
Cut the paneer into cubes
Deep fry them in oil in a kadai
Side by side boil some water and add some salt and turmeric to the water
Once, the paneer cubes are golden brown take them out of the oil and put them in the turmeric water mix
Step 2
Cut the onions into slices
Remove the excess oil from kadai and keep about 2-3 tablespoons of oil
Add the sliced onions into the hot oil
Fry till a translucent color Make a paste of ginger and garlic and add to the kadai
Fry till onions are golden brown
Add chopped tomatoes and salt (about a spoonfull) to the mixture Fry till tomatoes are mashable
Add chili powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder
Add little water to avoid burning powder
Stir occasionally and keep adding little water to make the paste thick
Step 3
Add the paneer to the kadai and mix well
Add some water according to consistency of gravy Cook at a simmer for about 10 mins
Add the garam masala and kasuri methi
Boil for 2-3 mins on full flame
Finally garnish with coriander leaves
