Instructions

Step 1
Heat the sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Let this bubble and get a nice golden brown color. Takes about 7-8min.
Step 2
Pour the *HOT* caramel into your flan mold, moving the mold around to coat the bottom and sides. Set it aside and let it cool.
Step 3
In a blender mix your eggs and cream cheese and add in your condensed milk, evaporated milk, salt & vanilla. Mix until well combined.
Step 4
Pour the custard into your prepared mold with the hardened caramel.
Step 5
Put your flan mold into an ovenproof dish or baking pan and fill with hot water to about half-way up the sides, or as high as you can go without spilling hot water on yourself. Add a lid to your flan mold & bake for 75 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Step 6
Remove from oven and water bath and let it cool completely, then refrigerate overnight so it's properly sets.
Step 7
Flip flan mold over a larger dish. Make sure to get all the caramel in the bottom and enjoy.
