Instructions
Schnitzel
Step 1
Place the meat between 2 pieces of cling film and pat it flat to a thickness of approx. 0.5 cm.
Step 2
Season the meat on both sides with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Sprinkle the flour on a flat plate. Whisk the egg and milk in another plate. Add the breadcrumbs to the last plate.
Step 4
First roll the meat in the flour so that it is completely covered. Now dip the meat in the egg mixture. Finally, roll in the breadcrumbs. Make sure it is completely covered.
Step 5
Heat the oil in a pan. Set the heat to high. Place the schnitzel in the pan and fry for approx. 2 mins per side until crispy and golden brown.
French fries
Step 6
Peel and halve the potato. Cut them into strips approx. 0.5 cm thick.
Step 7
Put the potato slices in a bowl and mix them with the cornstarch. Leave to stand for approx. 5 mins.
Step 8
Heat the oil in a pan. Set the heat to medium-high. Add the potato slices and fry for 5-6 minutes until they are cooked, crispy and golden brown.
Step 9
Then season with salt.
Sauce
Step 10
Add ketchup and mayonnaise to a small bowl and mix until well combined.
Burger
Step 11
Cut the burger bun in half and roast both halves until golden brown.
Step 12
Spread the bottom bread half with the sauce.
Step 13
Top it with the Schnitzel and French fries.
Step 14
Stack the other bread half on top and enjoy!
